The German Shield Owl is a breed that originally came from Asia but was developed further in Germany. This breed has a short round and broad stance. They look like they are always proud in the way they stand. The feathers of the body are white with wings shield markings. The beak is very short and flesh colored. The German Shield Owl comes in smooth-headed, point-headed and scallop-headed. The owl breeds of pigeons are known to be a calm show pigeon that enjoys human interaction. They are friendly and easy to breed which would make them a great starter pigeon for someone or just as a pet pigeon. These are classified as a fancy breed.
