The Mulhousien pigeon , only original race by the Rhine High to date, has never occupied the place it deserves . Created in 1893 by the Ornithological Society of Mulhouse , which was then chaired by Mr Meyer- Brath . This pigeon has a true standard . He disappeared after the Second World War but Mr. Prosper Litzler had kept some couples at risk of his life on his farm in Spechbach -le-bas (at that time owning pigeons were forbidden ) .
