The
Carneau is a breed of pigeon developed over many years of selective breeding primarily as a
utility pigeon. Carneau, along with other varieties of
domesticated pigeons, are all descendants from the rock pigeon (Columba livia). The breed is known for large size and suitability for squab production.

Carneau pigeons standard this variety is known medium sized (tend to be large), with a fleshy body and solid, characterized by his broad chest and bloated. Straight leg, had a decent distance, bright red and without feathers. Carneau now has an almost all colors, but common standards are solid colors (black, red-kecolatan, or white) without additional patches or spotted any color. Ring-foot size: 9.
