The German Beak-crested Trumpeter - or also known by the names: Tambour Allemand à Simple Visière, Deutsche Schnabelkuppige Trommeltaube, Tamburo Tedesco a Ciuffo Nasale, Носочубый немецкий барабанщик - a variety originating from the territories of Thuringia and Saxon (both in Germany), which was developed since the early 1900s, and is believed to be the result of cross-mating between races Colour Pigeon with Double-crested Trumpeter. Trumpeter varieties classified as type this though has the ability to fly was good, but the development is now more devoted to the show.
